Directly from the innovative mind of Alvaro Diaz brings forth his new single “Brilloteo,” characterized by his distinctive sound that fuses hip hop and rap beats. The second song from his upcoming album ‘Felicilandia,’ this new title showcases his musical genius. Diaz brings us a powerful and emotional vibe with unique and unparalleled Latin rap rhythms and memorable lyrics that wish to recognize women as the most beautiful gems.

The song was born trying to recreate something Diaz had previously done on Soundcloud with two tracks «Groupie Love» and «West Side.» In fact, «Brilloteo» brings back that Soundcloud Alvarito, incorporating classical touches while giving it a modern twist: a spectacular rap ballad. In addition, Álvaro Díaz always makes sure his chords include rhythms that are representative of Puerto Rico and «Brilloteo» is no exception, in which we can hear a sample of old school reggaeton. The idea for the single came from the musical mind of a young man named Yanga, making this single, his first successful song, which was co-produced by Alvaro Diaz, Ortiz and Albert Hype.

The key message of «Brilloteo» is to honor and flatter women. It’s a love song in which Díaz tells women, «you shine too much.» The Puerto Rican artist is always looking to break the mold, he showcases this with a chorus sung by Álvaro himself in falsetto that gives the single the energy needed to create a very original and catchy song. The concept of the video came together with deathofgian and it seeks to connect the stories of all the videos they have done together, such as “Gatillera,” “Brilloteo,” and one more, but doesn’t do it in an obvious manner, so that nothing makes sense but at the same time everything makes sense, using as inspiration the movie, «Pulp Fiction» from Quentin Tarantino.
«I think this is a necessary song for what’s going on right now and I can’t wait to keep showing people what ‘Felicilandia‘ means. Let’s Go!» said Alvaro Diaz.

Winner of the Tu Musica Urbana Award for «Best Tropical Fusion» with N’Klabe and the first urban Latin artist to have an article with Complex, Alvaro already has a string of successful collaborations with renowned Latin music artists including Sebastian Yatra, Myke Towers, C. Tangana, Tainy, Yandel, Cazzu, Feid, Dalex, Aitana, Lyanno, Miky Woodz and Rauw Alejandro. With 168 thousand subscribers on YouTube and over 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Álvaro Díaz will continue sharing hits charged with his Puerto Rican roots and his unmistakable and powerful Latin rap vibe.
