Global Latin music idol MALUMA, fulfilled yet another dream last night as he opened a new center for his foundation, EL ARTE DE LOS SUEÑOS (The Art of Dreams), based in the Distrito Creativo (Creative District) in his hometown of Medellin, Colombia; in order to continue to work to make a positive impact on the lives of the «dreamers», children and young people, who are part of his foundation.

Around 130 dreamers from six different towns in Antioquia are part of the foundation that since 2016 has been working to make dreams come true for young people and children who see Maluma as an inspiration and a role model. The new center consists of 300 square meters divided into the following areas: a Clinic for psychosocial care, a recording studio, administrative offices and three large soundproof classrooms for singing, dancing, and percussion.
«I couldn’t feel happier or more honored. I feel proud of my sister Manuela who is the president of the foundation, of the whole team that makes this possible. I feel proud of the dreamers. This is something that we have been working on for a long time. I hope this is the first of many centers…let’s keep dreaming and the sky is the limit,» Maluma expressed.
During this magical night, Maluma, as founder of El Arte de los Sueños, along with his sister Manuela Londoño, official foundation president, emphasized the arduous process that lead to accomplishing this project that provides opportunities for development for at-risk children and youth…«Our expectations with this new center is to make dreamers feel like they are at home, that they have a physical place to go, where they can create their own art and be inspired. That is why, a recording studio was built, for instance, as a tool for them to create their own music,» Manuela expressed.

Maluma and Manuela alongside their parents Marlli and Luis Alfonso cut the inauguration ribbon in a celebratory moment as the dreamers cheered on.

Among the surprises of the opening event, the Colombian superstar presented the Dreamer of the Year 2021 Award to Alexandra Ramirez in order to recognize the responsibility, commitment, discipline and values of the dreamer, highlighting the Foundation’s emphasis on training not only good artists, but also excellent human beings.
At the ceremony, a brand new song and video entitled «Sigue el Sueño» was officially released. The song was written by the foundation’s dreamers with production and musical arrangements by Maluma. The video was directed and produced by Cesar Pimienta and audiovisual company 36 Grados. To watch the video  for «Sigue el Sueño» click HERE
