The Dominican artist who has been selected by Spotify as a Radar artist for Central America and Caribbean, releases her first single of 2021 with Mechi Pieretti

Dominican singer-songwriter Valentina brings a lot of color to this summer with the release of her new single «Cereza». Two years after her musical debut, Valentina has been positioning herself in the music industry with strength, inclusive being designated in August of last year as ‘Radar Artist Central America and Caribbean’ of Spotify which catapulted her to surpass more than a million streams on the platform of her music.

«Cereza» is a fun and uplifting record theme that goes very much in line with these summer months. The song was composed by singer-songwriter of Argentine origin Mechi Pieretti, who once she listened to the final production by Elliot JustoV (recognized as El De La Barba and who has worked with artists of the stature of Melymel, Lo Blanquito, Tempo, Jowell, Richard Camacho, Melody, Akon and many more) and the execution of Valentina, asked immediately to join on the record to make this track one destined for success.

In the music video they incorporated a range of vivid colors that together with Valentina and Mechi’s charisma and interpretive strength of this record in Spanglish instantly connects them with today’s generation.
Since a noticeably young age Valentina has been preparing through singing, dancing, musical theater, and vocal education with the ultimate goal of fulfilling her dream of becoming a great performer. Her musical influences originate from greats of the “urbano” world such as: Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel and Ivy Queen to mention a few, but she has also followed and identifies with the POP of icons such as Paulina Rubio and RBD.
