To Deliver 4,000 Face Masks to South Florida Organizations.

The Hispanic Star Miami Hub, Sodexo, and CareMax set out on a caravan of goodwill to deliver 4,000 face masks to organizations in South Florida working with vulnerable populations.

Hispanic Star, a national collective effort to unify and advance the Hispanic community, through their Miami Hub, partnered with Sodexo, a leader in food service and facilities management, and with CareMax, a technology-enabled care platform providing value-based care and chronic disease management to seniors, to deliver much needed protective facemasks to organizations in South Florida caring for populations who are most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus.

Sodexo has made it a priority to reach out to community organizations across the country that are confronted with caring for people who may not always have access to quality personal protective equipment. In South Florida, with the help of the Hispanic Star Miami Hub and the CareMax Mobile Clinic the following organizations received facemasks:

Deliver the Dream, benefitting 500 families.
Showering Love, benefitting 1,000 guests, and the CareMax Mobile Clinic offered wellness checks.
Palmetto Hospital, benefiting 800 patients
Cala Foundation, benefiting over 20 families
