Back with another anthem, Brazilian global pop superstar  Anitta reveals a brand new single and music video entitled “Faking Love» featuring Saweetie. Listen HERE and watch the art track HERE and stay tuned for the official music video releasing at 12pm PT today.

On the track, a tropical beat quickly picks up momentum with handclaps as Anitta confesses, “I’ve been faking love with you.” She leans into the Caribbean bounce with swagger and style before multi-platinum phenomenon and best friend Saweetie pulls up with a sassy and slick verse. The song stands out as Anitta’s latest English-language single and showcases her dynamic vocal depth once again. For the visual, Anitta recruited the Los Angeles-based director duo of Bradley & Pablo [Dua Lipa, Rosalia]. With a cheeky concept and superbly stylized execution, the video instantly captivates and quickly brings you along for the ride.

Anitta continues to slay and shine brighter than ever. Recently, she took center stage at Billboard’s Latin Music Week for a wide-ranging interview and she made history as the first Brazilian artist to perform at the MTV VMAs this year.

Anitta ignited 2021 with the global breakout “Girl From Rio.” To date, it has tallied 100 million total streams with 35 million YouTube views on the music video. It notched her career-first debut on the Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart. In its wake, Variety spoke to her in-depth and predicted, “all signs are pointing toward it being her English-language breakthrough.”

Anitta performed “Girl From Rio” on NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!.
